Terms, copyright, and what this site is not.
This page covers the terms of use, copyright posture, licensing, and the disclaimers that apply to everything published on fullboundarycarbon.org. It is short, and written in plain language. This page is a draft pending counsel review and may be revised.
What this site is not
The content on fullboundarycarbon.org is offered for educational, research, and public-record purposes. It is not legal advice. It is not investment advice. It is not engineering certification of any specific project. Specifically:
- The recomputed building numbers on the Corrected Ledger are analytical re-presentations of public disclosures under a wider accounting boundary. They are not certified life cycle assessments. They are not intended to substitute for an EN 15978 or ISO 14040/44 assessment performed by a credentialed practitioner for regulatory or procurement purposes.
- The DRL framework is a working scientific methodology, not a settled or universally adopted standard. The framework is offered for review, citation, and disputation. Users who apply the framework to their own analyses do so under their own professional judgment.
- Nothing on this site constitutes an accusation of fraud, deception, malfeasance, or knowing misconduct by any named individual, institution, or organisation. The work uses auditor's voice throughout: configuration is described from the institutions' own published documents; intent is not characterised.
- Investment, procurement, regulatory compliance, or specification decisions based on the content of this site should be reviewed by appropriate professionals before action.
Who owns what
All original content published on fullboundarycarbon.org — the Codex, the companion papers, the Corrected Ledger pages, the methodology pages, the explainers, the calculators, the source code — is copyright © 2026 Murphy O'Neal. All rights reserved.
Quotations from public documents (EPA statements, ISO and EN standards, peer-reviewed scientific papers, government publications, Environmental Building Declarations) are used under fair use / fair dealing for the purpose of commentary, criticism, scholarship, and education. Citations are provided for every quotation. Where any quotation requires permission, please contact via the feedback channel.
The Codex and companion papers carry their own joint-authorship disclosures noting AI-system contributions to the research process; those disclosures are integral to each document.
What you can do with this work
The published documents on this site — the Codex, the companion papers, the timeline, the price-configuration chart, the methodology pages — are offered for free distribution and citation under the following terms:
- Permitted without further permission: reading; downloading for personal or institutional use; citing in academic, regulatory, journalistic, or legal work with attribution; linking from other websites; quoting brief extracts in commentary, criticism, scholarship, or news reporting with attribution.
- Permitted with attribution: reproducing single figures, tables, or short extracts in derivative work for non-commercial purposes, provided the source is cited per the suggested citation format on the Codex page.
- Requires permission: reproducing any document in full or in substantial part; commercial redistribution; inclusion in paid publications; translation; modification.
- Not permitted: reproduction without attribution; reproduction in altered form that materially changes the meaning of the original; use for marketing claims that misrepresent the framework's findings.
For permission requests, please use the feedback channel.
What we link to
This site links to many third-party websites — government agencies, scientific institutions, certification bodies, industry organisations, peer-reviewed journals, regulatory portals, and legal cases. Inclusion does not imply endorsement. The links are provided so that readers can verify sources directly. The accuracy and ongoing availability of external content is the responsibility of the linked sites, not this one.
Several external links on the Resources page point to organisations whose published positions are critiqued by the DRL framework. They are linked to precisely because the framework's argument depends on the reader being able to read the original positions directly. The linked organisations are not affiliated with this site.
What this site collects
fullboundarycarbon.org is a static-content website. It does not run user-tracking analytics; it does not set behavioural cookies; it does not require user registration. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which collects standard request logs (IP address, request path, user agent) for the purpose of serving content and managing abuse. Those logs are governed by Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
Submissions to the feedback channel are logged with timestamp and content. Where identification is provided, the identification is included in the log. The log is treated as confidential to the editorial process. Substantive corrections may be acknowledged on the relevant page; institutional responses may be published on the relevant page subject to the institution's preference. No other use is made of submission contents.
Jurisdiction
The author of this site is based in Florida, USA. To the extent that the laws of any jurisdiction apply to disputes arising from the use of this site, the laws of the State of Florida and applicable U.S. federal law are the framework within which such disputes will be addressed. International readers retain whatever rights they hold under their own jurisdictions; this paragraph does not purport to override them.
